Samsung Electronics Indonesia has announced the Galaxy A14 5G, the first phone to be launched in 2023.
Priced at $204, Samsung is aiming for users who want to switch from 4G to 5G networks. They use MediaTek's Dimensity 700 chip, which already supports 5G networks in the Galaxy A14 5G.
The chip's performance is supported by 6GB of RAM. With RAM Plus, users can once again get up to 6 GB more RAM. The RAM expansion feature works by extracting some space from external memory to allow the Galaxy A14 5G to run smoother when opening heavy apps.
In addition, the Galaxy A14 comes with 128GB of external storage that can be expanded up to 1TB with a memory card.

For display, Samsung offers a 6.6-inch widescreen display with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate support, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The Galaxy A14 has three cameras on the back, with a 50MP main camera. The other two cameras are a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens.
On the front camera, Samsung has integrated a 13MP lens. Both cameras of the Galaxy A14 whether front or rear have supported video recording at 1080 pixels and 30 frames per second.
Equipped with a USB Type-C cable that already supports 15W fast charging with a battery capacity of 5,000mAh.
