After the camera-megapixel race, it seems that mobile phone manufacturers are now turning to the fast-charging technology race. One of them is Infinix, which will reportedly launch a phone with 260W fast charging.
This message came from GSM Arena who received a photo of the Infinix 260W Thunder Charge charger. The charger is placed next to the phone as the Infinix Zero Ultra launched with 180W fast charging.
The 260W fast charging technology developed by Infinix is said to have a 100W 4-way charging pump with AHB (High-Performance Bus) circuit design and safe charging control. In addition to the wired fast charging technology, Infinix also tested a 100W wireless charging technology. This new technology has a special coil design with better charging efficiency, lower internal resistance, and longer charging time.
Infinix will introduce 260W fast charging technology, but it is not yet known whether the Chinese vendor will launch a new phone with the new technology or use a different version of the Infinix Zero Ultra.
But certainly before the end of 2023, Infinix will release a phone with 260W fast charging. When this phone is released, Infinix will return to the throne of phones with fast-charging technology. Currently, the place is occupied by the Realme GT Neo5 and Realme GT3 with 240W fast charging.
However, Xiaomi has also just introduced a 300W fast charging technology that can fully charge the phone battery in five minutes. So it is estimated that Infinix's position is unlikely to last long.
