Apple has announced the arrival of a new color iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. This time the yellow color chosen reminds me of Nokia Banana.
Yes, Nokia Banana is now available in gold color. It's just that the yellow color of iPhone 14 and 14 Plus is more youthful, making people look excited.
Apple usually introduces new colors six months after the initial release. Last year, the Cupertino tech giant released a dark green color and in 2021 it will release a purple color.
The yellow color on the iPhone is not the first time Apple has introduced it. Previously, the iPhone 11 had a light yellow color option and later the iPhone XR had a dark yellow color.
Apart from the color, the yellow iPhone 14 does not change its specifications. iPhone 14 comes with a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 14 Plus is 6.7 inches. Both use Super Retina XDR OLED panels protected by a protective ceramic layer.

Apple still installs the A15 Bionic chipset that was previously integrated into the iPhone 13. However, its performance is not only faster than its predecessor, but also compared to phones on the market today.
The main camera of the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus is also enhanced. Although it is still 12 MP, the sensor used is larger. Apple also installed a new TrueDepth camera, an ultra-wide camera with the ability to capture more scenes, and a photonic engine that provides improvements when shooting in low light.
When recording videos, Apple offers a new feature called Action Mode. This feature can make recorded videos extremely smooth even when recording while walking.
iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are equipped with Collision Detection which can detect serious car crashes and automatically call emergency services when users are unconscious or unable to reach their iPhone.
The iPhone 14 series also includes Emergency Satellite SOS, which enables messaging with emergency services outside of cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
Along with the gold launch, Apple also unveiled 4 new colors for the iPhone 14 line of silicone cases, namely canary gold, olive gold, sky, and iris. Each of these cases costs 49 USD.
The gold versions of the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus can be ordered starting March 10, 2023. The price remains the same, starting at $829.
